The Honest Kitchen began in 2002 creating high quality food for dogs right out of their founder's home kitchen. Focusing on ingredients with integrity, honest kitchen uses high quality ingredients, with all their products. They  contain no GMOs, artificial preservatives, colors or flavors. In addition all their products are also soy, corn and wheat free!

The Honest Kitchen has the first human grade pet food on the market. This means that all their products are held to the same strict standards as human food. In addition they use Global Animal Partnership (G.A.P) certified chicken. The GAP program uses species-specific standards which reflect the latest research in agricultural science, and they then implement their findings practically to improve the welfare of the animals.

The honest kitchen also focuses on sustainability, with many of there production sites being partially solar powered. They have also  implemented a reduced food waste program for their facilities. 62% of their packaging is made from renewable materials, and are fully recyclable after use!
